Just wondering...Is it normal to see these thin wires exposed from the gimbal (gimbal facing down in photo)?

OK, I feel better to know its normal, but it looks tacky!  I just activated my Mavic yesterday, and seeing that made me jump on the DJI Care refresh..

That's how it's built, and it's really not exposed as the gimbal would never be in that position.

It wouldn't?  What about when shooting real estate views from directly above?

It's still protected from the bottom side of the aircraft.
And in that gimbal position if something hits the cable, I think you have bigger things to worry about like a broken gimbal or aircraft.

I'm questioning the fact though that there doesn't seem to be any insulation on the (whole) wire. There is at the bottom, but it looks as though it's worn off. The other gimbal motor also has the same.

While this may be by design, exposed wires will eventually corrode. Could be a long term point of failure.
