You can pretty much ignore this screen.  Has no bearing on GPS.  Go back to the main screen to see if the GPS is connected.  Have you had the quad in the air flying?  Are there warnings on the main screen?

Yes when fly it shows the gps is on when it's on the ground but as soon it goes in the air it goes off

Does it set home point?  Could just be the area where you are flying, tall buildings, trees, power lines?

Mine does exactly that when I try to take off in Atti mode. The flashing green lights turn into flashing yellow as soon as the P3S gets airborne.

when you take off are you getting a "Compass error, exist GPS", followed by the app saying ATTI mode?

so you are getting a compass error?  I can make compass errors happen when I fly in my backyard on demand by moving the the nose of the aircraft 15 degrees right or left.  It then switches to ATTI mode.  Do you fly in your backyard or near any power lines?

If it is new, send it back. If you can't, then you have to deal with DJI wonderful support.

That's what I've decided I'm tired of messing with it so I'll just get a new one
