I have a P4P+ (with display). In the event I have a Fly Away or I know the drone went down but out of sight, what can I do to find the drone?

On my P3, with the RC in hands I would upload the Flight Record to HealthyDrones, analyze the flight and get a good idea where the drone went down. With the P4P+ (with display), I know of know way to use the RC to help me find the drone. Is that right?

Drone world sells that GPS tracking chip.  It's a bit pricey.

Rich, you can sync the flight records through DJI GO APP and try to find aircraft according to GPS coordinates.
When you're around the aircraft, maybe RC can link to AC again, then please go to MC settings–Advanced settings–ESC Beeping, click on it, you will hear the sound, which does good for finding aircraft.

DJI needs to add this to the Phantom operating system. I have a Hubsan 501s, and on the controller LCD at all times it shows the GPS coordinates of the drone and the controller at all times. If the drone comes down and is lost you have the GPS coordinates of where it is.
