I just received my Phantom 4 Pro + and successfully updated the Radio Controller soft & the quad's firmware.

I connected the RC to my WiFi, then I updated the Radio Controller via RC Android settings. Not from the DJI application, but from kind of Android device settings. After this update the MAC address of the RC changed, so I have to add the new MAC address to my WiFi router filter to connect to the WiFi again.

Then I connected the quad to RC via cable. One has to use two (!) supplied accessory cables so that two micro-USB sockets are connected. Look carefully on the image how to connect the RC and the quad with the cables. It is possible to connect it to the big USB socket on the RC with just one cable, but it will not work this way.

One has to press "Downloading" blue button on the screen to actually start download. After that everything is straightforward.
