This is for DJI's attention...  here is footage directly from the SD card (in Dropbox).  Please see:  https://www.dropbox.com/s/7cjnh48u4fz9g2o/DJI_0001.MP4?dl=0

I'd really want to know why this flickering occurs in footage when shooting video of bushes, leaves, trees, reeds.... (is this plain moire that the sensor inherently has?)  It really looks like the playback occurs in two frequencies or something...  hope you can see this.

I used M mode, PAL, H.265, F4.5, ISO 100 and dialed the SS until the histogram was OK (I think it was SS=240.  I have tried higher and lower SS - same problem).  I started off with sharpness=0, cont.-2 and sat.=-2.  Yes, it helps somewhat to dial the sharpness down to -2, but the flickering is still visible....  And no, my camera is not broken.  I've seen the same issue on a friend's P4 P too.

Help me out please DJI as this is really a problem I see with some of my footage (there are others also mentioning this.)

Regards

I can't see it. Perhaps I am missing something though.

You need to download the file.... import into Premiere Pro CC 2016 that can handle H.265 - or download and play on a 4K TV / screen.

Ah! Ok. I'm not viewing from anything that supports either, so the footage looks fine to me. Makes sense.

I don't see a "flicker" on a viewsonic 2780.  I didn't look at it in Adobe Premiere but I did play it locally.

You will see this on a TV, but not on a computer monitor.. I have the same issue and suspect it may have something to do with interlacing. Have spent hours trying to fix it.
