I was wondering if anybody else have this issue. The transmitter is stuck at 2.4gzh. I am not able to set it to 5.8gzh if I want to.

Hi The drone is the P4P Plus and the HD set at auto. Regardless of custom or auto it remains at 2.4ghz. The app only shows 2.4ghz and tapping on it does nothing. I am using the drone in Australia and I do not think there is any issue with using that frequency here. Thank you for your interest.

It defaults to 5.8 ghz , mine is the same as yours in that I can switch it manually to 2.4 ghz but cannot switch it manually to 5.8 ghz. I think your area must be heavy with 5.8 ghz interference if it automatically choses only 2.4 ghz.

Thank you Spike. I was thinking the same. The little box says 2.4 ghz, 5.8 ghz does not show at all no matter what I do. Hoping to get out in the countryside soon to see if it gives an option. I am not too concerned about it as 2.4 ghz seems the the most popular. I will let you know once I away flying from the city area.

I have the same problem in Russia. Tried Image Transmission Settings in "auto", next in "custom" and have only 2.4G band without chance to set 5.8G. I saw some Youtube videos when pilots can switch between 2.4G and 5.8G, but I do not have such setting. My drone is P4P. Region change on my phone can't help with it... And 5.8G is legal for civilian usage in Russia... Don't understand what the problem.{:4_157:}

Hi Thanks for posting. It is quite baffling why I cannot select 5.8. There are no issues here regarding frequencies as the Yuneec product uses 2.4 for control and 5.8 for video. I will be in the Philippines in a few weeks so will see if it makes a difference. Will let you know
