I live in a suburb of Chicago, namely the Elmhurst - Oak Brook area.  Anyone else out here fly?  If so, where do you fly?  My backyard has multiple towering trees with a fence, powerlines, etc.  I also don't like flying over peoples houses, just in case.

HEY WHATS The rules on flying the drones downtown? I asked a few cops if it was cool to fly them and they seemed to have no clue what the rules and regulations were.

I'm a drone newb. Have Spark for now, but planning bigger stuff. Did you find any good places?

I went Miller Meadows South, alot last summer.  Huge open area.

Any specific rules for flying drones in Oak Brook / Oak Brook park district? I just got a Mavic Pro and work near the OB post office and would like to practice flying the drone at the soccer field during my lunch time
