I see the much cheaper Osmo Mobile has tracking function where you can "select" any moving object on the screen such as a persons face and the camera will automatically track that object as it moves. A great feature. My question is why would this same feature NOT be available on the more advanced and higher priced Osmo Plus?? It seems to me that the technology to do this would be  all in the Gimbel.
If some one has a comment please share your thoughts.  DJI ANY INPUT ON THIS???
We are planning on mounting our osmo on a jib arm and this function would be a huge plus to avoid using the app to pan/tilt with especially when working a jib arm at the same time.

But you need a few meters to get the function and its not very easy to set

Ya we tried Vertical studio, good but no great, it always wants to put things in the centre of the frame which in some shots is not what you want. Also it loses tracking if subject is to close to camera we found

What about face-tracking. Can OSMO-Plus track and keep focus on a face when used in selfie-mode?

I know that we are talking about different hardware, but how hard would it be to add a software solution to DJI Go app to include this feature for OSMO+ especially when it is already there for OSMO Mobile in the app.
