Hi all. I noticed that when I calibrate my compass, on the second step, when I have to hold the p4p vertically and rotate, the gimbal makes a weird screeching sound. During normal time - when I start up the aircraft, or when I rotate the aircraft horizontally or tilt the aircraft there is no weird sound. Is this normal? Also I noticed that when I hold the aircraft upside down, the gimbal is not exactly in the center but rather pushed behind. Is this normal?

just to confirm, you do take off the gimbal guard before you turn on the drone right? i see its in there in your attached photo and i would imagine it would make weird noises if left on.

Yup Sunny. I have the guard removed off, when I hear the weird screeching noise.

I think you are worried about nothing I wouldn't really hold the Drone upside down either so whatever it does upside down shouldn't really matter

Also the picture that you posted the reason why it looks like it's not centered is because you have the gimbal guard on so it's pushing the rubber Dampener all the way back... take the gimbal guard off and the gimbal will be free to move in that rubber dampener

I checked by pulling out the gimbal guard, but still it is pushed back. But anyways...Thanks..I just wanted to check if anyone else encountered the noise. As I had a P4 in the past and it never made that screeching gimbal noise - weather horizontal, vertical or upside down. Not a biggie. As you pointed out...you could never fly the thing vertical.
