Minor Crash - Advise

Had a minor crash indoors (one day before my prop gaurds arive {:4_142:}) anyway there doesn't appear to be any substancial damage. Fortunately I have DJI Care Refresh so I shouldn't be too worried. However, there is this minor crack I was wondering if it is something I should be conserned about or if it is just cosmetic. Tomorrow I will put it back in the air to make sure everything is in order but for now I figured this would help give me peace of mind. Thanks.

sounds good is there anyway you can estimate how long the process takes if I turn it in to be evaluated/worked on?

Hi,

Sorry to hear of the crash.  Must be rather annoying for you to say the least.

Given the crack you show, I definitely wouldn't fly until you have had it evaluated.  The last thing you want is 4 props at 400ish rpm flying descending on you uncontrollably.  Its also no worth the risk of causing more damage to the drone

Its a bummer that you cant fly, but more of a bummer if you injure yourself or someone else.

With care refresh, remember, it may be more cost effective to pay for the repair, than use up one of you refreshes. DJI should quote for the repair and give you the option.

UPDATE: took it for a test flight this morning (post crash) I'm also having a "abnormal gimbal vibration" Definitely need to send it in and get it worked on. However, there is a slight jolt from time to time which is something it did before the crash (rarely) so I'm wondering if my drone always had a problem. Has anyone else experienced this problem.

Normally the turn-around time is about 2 weeks.
