Ok so I think im going to bleach my hair blonde. I can't get the props to fit my brand new inspire 2. Seem to me to have different hole size on prop to peg size on motor.

DJI had a problem and shipped some pre production props with I2 boxes. The photo you show are props for the I2. Get in touch with DJI support and ask them to send you the real ones. Also find the thread here for Propeller Jammed on Inspire 2 and read you will see what i mean.

Did you happen to measure the width too?  Unless it is in optical illusion the  prop center oblong  hub looks MUCH wider .

took the extra quick release out of the bag (same size that's on the bird) it fits in width wise but length is so screwed up peg (motor side) is about 15mm and hole (prop side) is about 10mm

Stupid question, did u put the motor mount into the open position? Out of the box you need to open the mounts as if they already had propellers on them.

These are beta props of the I2. Don't know why DJI is shipping some of these. Contact them and you will get some new ones.

Dude I have two Inspire 1 v2's  they were both supplied with motor locks on. I think this is a way for DJI to acknowledge that you must first unlock it to then know how it locks and unlocks before you try to fly it and find props spinning off before it leaves the ground.

Regarding your question about the Inspire 2 . YES I have unlocked the motors. and if you have just a few seconds look at the pictures that I have posted at the top of this thread. They clearly show that the hole in the prop is to small for the peg (motor side) to fit into 15mm peg will not fit into 10mm hole unless you use a big hammer but that will mess up the warranty. this is not a case of they are a bit tight THEY JUST DO NOT FIT

I'd like to thumbs up on this post but I think its pretty bad deal all round for what might be hundreds of inspire 2 customers dealing with or just about to deal with this "sorry situation"

Hi guys, I have been reading the posts carefully while waiting for my inspire 2 in order to be ready for whatever comes in... Sadly I can join the wrong propeller crew. Hoping this can be fixed quickly as I really need to be able to fly soon. I will let you know if I get any answer on my open ticket (399099).

Update, although a disappointing one... I have to send the props back to Dji in the Netherlands and although they know of the issue and have pictures they will not send new ones untill they receive mine. Fine... But I had to insist in order to finally obtain a serial to plan the UPS pickup that can now only take place on Monday. Last info, after inquiring again, the best they seem to suggest - and cannot promise - is an 8-10 days lead time, shipping excluded.

Not very pro... Fun comparison: I had a small shoulder strap issue with a 100$ ThinkTank photo bag. After a single explanation email I got confirmation within 2 hours that a replacement part would be sent out, no questions asked...

I have been waiting OVER 2 weeks now and finally talked DJI Melbourne Australia to send me some before they got mine in their grubby hands ( great I thought I have a win) sadly NO!. They sent them on road freight so*%#!+%$$&*** (forum has now implemented out cuss words but you can imagine what i'm feeling........ 6 more days of pain and a $12.500 Australian dollar paper weight sitting on my desk starring at me begging to fly!

I feel your pain... I tired to ask if I could get my replacement propellers pre-shipped even if I have to pay them and get reimbursed later, let's see.
