Just 35 miles NW of Austin and would enjoy hobby flying as I'm not in any business ventures with my P4 although I have had some suggestions. Too old to worry about working and really enjoying flying my P4. Once it comes back from the repair facitlity that is!

I'm not too far from you in Leander waiting for the rain to stop so I can fly my Mavic.

I rode my motorcycle in and around Hill Country for years. Would have loved to have had my P3 with me. The Twisted Sister are is awesome as is the Guadalupe River. In the Spring when the Bluebonnets are in bloom would be outstanding!

Will keep in mind the drive from Lago Vista to Marble Falls always has some great bluebonnet growth.

I'm in Southwest Austin and got my Mavic Pro yesterday! I can't wait to get out around Austin and into the Hill Country—and beyond—to fly and film with it. I've only flown it for one battery charge so far, but it's a pretty amazing machine.

I'm in Lago Vista. Wondering where to find great views. Probably over by Mansfield dam. Where else?

In San Antonio by Helotes myself. Some of the rural spots are great now that the rain has allowed the vegetation to green.

That's just down the street, practically. Found any areas to stay away from? It'd be good to let us all know as we run across them. I don't want to end up like that guy in Houston who's drone has a gun shot wound.

down in galveston have really been enjoying my P4P running down the surf  and dunes

You can take the SD card out of the P4 and plug it in your PC using a SanDisk adapter and a USB adapter.
I just plug my P4 direct to my PC using an Apple cable. One end is USB the other end is connector to the P4.
Might be a bit confusing the way I describe it as I am not using the correctoer terminology. Sorry.

thanks  that's kind of what I was thinking that I was going to have to do    was just so much easer with the iPhone  but then I don't run my iPhone batt down      

Picked up my temporary certificate yesterday from the Fed's  was fairly painless  

I'm north of San Antonio in the Spring Branch area.  Have about an hour flight time on my P4P+.

I"m also in Lago Vista. Fly mostly from my driveway but do get down to the different parks and get some good pictures. Like K-Oaks the best.
