Have anyone used the p4p with Litchi if so how does it do? If I download Litchi will I need to Uninstall the DJIGO app or I can keep it on my tablet just not have both apps open at once?

yes i have both. litchi offers fubctions wich go4 doesnt and vice versa. having both makes sense for what im doing with my p4p

Is it true that litchi allow you to reserve battery when setting waypoint by pre-planning your flight prior to flying versus DJI GO you have to actually use battery  by actually flying the waypt as you set it?

yes that is one of the functions litchi offers. my fav is the l1/l2 assignable center auto focus

sure. you can assign the focus function, usually mapped to halfpressed shutter button to one of the buttons on the bottom of the rc. it then does two things: 1. center the focus area to the exact middle of the image and 2 focuses on that. so no need to take your hands of the sticks when you want the center to be in focus

Gotcha appreciate that explanation

but remember not to have both apps running. only the one you are using. The other has to be forced close.

Ok im using Samsung tab pro tablet im gonna research how to force close app to make sure that its closed.

Litchi app keeps crashing on me any ideas why? Im using a samsung tab pro 8.4" tablet

Steps On How To Display Recent Applications on Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4



> If you want to quick access (Recent applications screen + Task manager) from any app and from any location > touch the Recent Apps Key. The Recent Apps key will be found at the left side of the Home button.

> Hold on an application from the list in order to view the App info or Remove from the list (For example, example you want to remove an app from the list in order to close it, then follow the next steps). Press Remove from list > Press Close all.

Reason for that?   I've run both at the same time with no issues unless that's something new with the P4P and DJI Go4 app

taken from litchi instructions:

"Make sure no DJI-based apps (including DJI Go, Litchi and other third party DJI drone/osmo apps) are running in the background. If there are any, force kill them"

Luke007 has provided the Litchi advice, but when you think about it its like having two steering wheels in one car - although I'm sure there are many out there who would like that sometimes...
