Hi all, I now have in hand the 6 pack of Freewell filters.  Listed below

ND8
ND16
ND32
CPL
ND-8PL
ND16-PL

I well understand the reason for the ND and levels depending on brightness but for clear sun and over watery settings what would be the go to?

The PL refers to polarized, would it be logical in the above sun and water settings to just always use the PL version?

Guidence from experience would be great.

In many cases there is no right or wrong but a question of personal taste. As watery sceneries usually come with reflections caused by the water, the PL or CPL filters will reduce those. If you like a result with reduced reflections and a stronger motion blur in the video frames, then go for the ND-PL filters.

If you like reflections, go for ND filters. If you want to extract sharp photos from the video stream, do not use an ND filter at all. I guess you have to try this out yourself and finally choose whatever you like the most.
