Just got a ipad mini 2 wifi and 4G to use with my P4, i have installed the Dji go 4 app , I have never used apple products before only Android,  are there any settings on the ipad mini or DJI App  I should alter to enable them to work at optimum performance

I have this configuration too P4 + iPad Mini 2, it works like a charm

I use a iPad mini 2 and did not change any settings and it works great with my P4

Thanks , I have a nexus 7 2013 also but the ipad seam a little smoother

I am using the iPad Pro 12.9" and only thing I had to change was the Metric to imperial settings and works like a charm. I bought one of the extenders for the remote to be able to use the 12.9 inch iPad just barely fits in

I use the ipad mini 2 wifi+4G and I also use the ipad pro 9.7 wifi+4G both on Tmobile with my Phantom 3 and Phantom 4 with no problems.

same set up I used.. works perfect!

There more I use the app on the ipad mini 2  the smoother it seams compared to the Nexus 7 2013,  I have also installed the GS Pro app and that  runs smooth also, hoping to get out at the weekend and give the bird a fly and put the tablet threw it's  paces

Good to hear you're liking everything thus far. As others mentioned, the iPad Mini 2 does not need much in the ways of tweaking.

It's pretty much plug and play

You will quickly learn why apple is the top dog. The other guys like to tout the hardware but the hardware is nothing without good software and Apple's is by far the best.
