Just got my mavic today.   I'm a P3A driver, and want to use my ipad mini2 like I use on the P3A.

The specs for the Mavic (https://www.dji.com/mavic/info ) list the ipad mini 2 as one of the recommend screens.

Perhaps this is a stupid question, but I can't get the ipad mini to fit in the remote control screen holder.  I'm I missing somthing?

I'm currently using this https://www.etsy.com/listing/487 ... t-adapter?ref=hp_rv with a Nvidia shield and so far I like it, I think it has its flaws but it does get the job done and still allows me to see the telemetry on the remote screen.

I'm using a mini 2 myself and just like the pictures from Ken in that thread, it's fitting very snugly. It's a bit scary it would break the holder clips on the first try but once you know it can fit then it's OK. Just push it in slowly.

One thing to keep in mind though is during the fitting the holder clip on the right may push the mode button to sports mode. So make sure you check that before turning everything on.
