you know that sideways renders the obstacle avoidance ineffective. whats wrong with turning the cam around?

yes on a P4. ill try fly straight (frontal sensors up front) while recording sideways. never tried it before, may or may not work. you'll know in 2 hours

um, you can't control the camera independently. only the tilt off the gimbal up or down

Blueman:

Er and um go together rather well. Funny though, that I didn't see a reference to either of these utterances during all of my time Reading The Flight Manual.

JACKODOG-ANDROID:

Good, smooth camera work and editing on the sideways shooting, but your choice of Blackfoot was exemplary.
It's so very true that the right soundtrack compliments the visuals; Diary compels you to absorb every frame of the screenplay.

Thanks for sharing.

WindSoul:

I've gotten so used to binging on Netflix, waiting the 10 seconds for the next episode to start, so as to quickly appease and answer the dire questions posed in the previous episode's cliffhanger.

It seems like an eternity, those two hours you've promised. These needles and pins are just not that comfortable. And the carping fish ate my breath, so, per regulations, I released them.

What did you discover?

Keep Smiling,

Augustus

is not that i dont have the answer, but given your poetic inclinations i cant break it to you like there's no mañana.
so keep chirping, hens are birds too.
now jokes aside, i trusted DJI when they advertised "3 axis gimbal". i see no reason why camera cant yaw 360 degrees, even if that meant catching the legs in the picture.

but good point at bringing the netflix in the mix. as for the carp reference, i thank you for pointing the obvious: carpe diem, or use clothes in public.

That's looks great.
There is a setting in intelligent flight mode that you can set the forward direction no matter which way the drone is facing, makes it easier to get the shots, if you didn't know.
