Very nice video! I'm surprised how good the image was for such low light conditions. What were your camera settings?

I had the EV set around 0 and the shutter on auto I think.

Huh, that's amazing! I would like to try some night flights but I live out in the sticks so all you'd see is.... darkness.

Flying in densely populated areas are always tricky, but it's an otherwise nice video. The exposure work was well done.

Yeah, I figure as long as I keep my height and maneuvers conservative and RTH set real high and keep it straight out and back in I would be OK. I mean there is always some chance the thing could drop out of the sky for some weird reason but hey, that could happen with pigeons too. Besides, this is Tucson so no one cares about anything except where they're going to eat.

Did you notify DM before the flight? Just curious. I haven't found anywhere within the city limits here in Tucson that is outside of the five mile radius. Between DMAFB and TIA, then add in the various hospitals with heliports, and Marana Regional, you have to get out of town to escape the airport circles.

Just use the regular camera. I have come to rely on the RTH function. Set the RTH altitude plenty higher than the tallest obstruction around and watch the battery level. I don't fly too low, close, or go behind obstructions. I think of shots I want to get then I fly them as best I can. Practice makes perfect. Otherwise it is in God's hands.  If you love something, set it free. If it flies away, buy another.
