I would highly recommend Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains.  Just having that open space to fly this tiny Mavic drone around is incredible.  Really surreal feeling.  Flying with goggles there might give me a heart attack.

How can it still fly after being submerged?  Sorry if silly question but I am totally new to this.  Haven't even purchased yet.

Taken in the lull before the storm at 120m AGL. I used VLC to take a 'snapshot' so I could catch the lightning. VLC is a bit laggy with HD video. Windows media player is good but I cant find a snapshot function. Any suggestions?
Same view at 200m just after the remnants of Cyclone Debbie went past.

For taking frames from videos, I use 'Free Video to JPG Converter' by DVDVIDEOSOFT.COM

Thanks for that. I did give it a go but got caught out on the install with some adware. Just have to be careful on the install.
Works well. I also downloaded GOM Player. Has quite good resolution frame grabs though like VLC is jumpy at times, though a little better than VLC.
