Hello, All:

I have a brand new P4P, have flown it only a couple of times.  Last time I flew, I kept getting alerts in DJI Go 4 that the ambient light for my avoidance sensors was too low.  Granted, it was a cloudy afternoon, but I'm wondering:

1.  Is there an ambient light threshold guideline that needs to be met?
2.  And for future reference, do the sensors need cleaning from time-to-time to avoid such occurence/alerts?

Thanks, in advance!

In the manual, it says the light have to be greater than 300 lux for it to work.

Thanks, Maxi.  The "lux factor" where I was was definitely greater than 300.

Will having those lights on the drone help this situation? I saw some lights which can be attached to the landing legs. Will they help in avoidance detection during nights?

Obstacle avoidance even with lights does not work at night

If you installed the lastest firmware, you will loose some sensitivity on front and rear sensors.

1.   Yes, please read the manual.  300lux I believe
2. Yes. The sensors need to be cleaned if dirty.  Check before each flight

Are you referring to Lume Cubes?

Yes, they would help enable OA, if you were flying close enough to the obstacles.
