My aircraft says something about using the DJI Go 4 app now for Mavic.  Is this correct, so I need to download that instead just the normal DJI Go App

That is correct the DJI go 4 app is strictly for the Mavic Pro. Some people are still using the old app but will become obsolete in the very near future if it hasn't already

Yes download the DJI Go 4 APP for your Mavic for the latest firmware and updates. You will need to keep your DJI Go APP if you have older drones or the Osmo.

Go 4 also is for the P4 Pro, P4 and Inspire 2.
