We kinda knew we might run into this problem going in..  Our 2 INSPIRES arrived a couple of days ago and as we go through set up, everything is going fine until the Android APP turns on.  The Status says "Not Connected" yet the craft LED indicator says its connected and the led on the remote says its connected.  The APP is up, its just not seeing the UAV.  Yes the USB is plugged in from remote to tablet.  But there is no camara video and the status is like the copter is not even there..?     Now, like I said, we wondered about this up front because, the brand new tablets we have are not on the "approved" list, which was not out when we placed our inspire orders...   So now I wonder is its an incompatibility problem with the Android tablets or are we missing something else?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated...  (NOTE:  Once we solve this problem, we will update this post with the fix.)

Hi Ed,  Yep it all set up to specs and when we place and Android phone on it.  It works perfect.   Even the HDMI output to monitor works as well.   But still no dice on getting it to display connect to the Android tablet.  The APP comes up and shows all the controls but it is like the remote is not even there or the copter, which are both there and on and ready to fly but its not connecting.

If the Android phone works, that tells me that the system is functioning properly.  Your devices is currently not supported per the devices list.
