I need to rollback from that new update 1.8 to the old 1.7.9 or whatever it is.  Someone give me good instructions on how to do this?  My video is chopy, it sways hovering, etc.  My controler says Poor Signal...horible.  Why would DJI release this firmware.  Ugh.  Thank you.

To locate the issue, would you please help us confirm the following info:
1. What mobile device you're using? please try different devices in DJI recommended list and check again.
2. There is no issue for the original video saved into SD card, right?
3.What is the environment around when flying? please change another open places to fly it.

mine does the same exact thing, I updated to new firmware and now the video feed stutters all the time and my controller says poor connection, also the copter moves back and forth when it used to be perfectly stable.

I dont think you can downgrade, my understanding is DJI blocked this from 1.7.9 version. No way am I upgrading as there are so many complaints all over the net re this newer version, I so wish I could go back to 1.5.8. DJI Natalia please find away for us to do this and make you customers happy.

Same issue here.  Was getting 1300-1600 feet before upgrade now I go 400-500 and I get video lag, signal loss, return to home.  

I have tried to down grade to 1.07, reinstall the GO app, relink controller.  Nothing is helping.

The device is basically useless now.

Hope they can fix this soon or it will be my first and last DJI device.

Same problem as your having got fed up no fun selling phantom 3. Just received Parrot Disco loads of fun it got restrictions but you can switch them off.

you can't downgrade the file is not compatible it says use a different version to downgrade

put an older version fw in your gimball sd .startup the phantom without controler .and hold the connect button on the drone a few secconds.this works
