I was lucky to have a bit of a break in the cold weather and got a chance to take some photos.
Lots of learning still to do, but the Mavic really is great fun to fly and use.

The overhead ones are my favourites too. Having the Mavic has really stated to make me expand my thinking when photographing. It has been a blast starting to learn flying it too.

I still have a mild fear that it'll just fly off or plummet out of the sky while I am setting up the camera on the app. When does this go away for first time drone owners?

You will very quick trust your mavic and it makes more and more fun with every flight. Such a  great product.
