I have a friend who is thinking of ordering a Mavic.   I understand that DJI will take off two weeks for Chinese New Year.     I'm trying to figure out when this is so that he doesn't order and get delayed for like 3 or 4 weeks or something.

Thanks

DJI-Mindy said that they would only take off three days.

Just to be clear, the entire spring festival is two weeks. That does not mean it is a two week vacation from work. Honestly, not many people are really doing much celebrating by day 10. Also, Chinese holidays often have make-up days where employees and students have to come in on weekends to make up some of the days. I live in China. That part is very annoying.

The exact date is Jan 28th GMT+8, but the break will probably start from 3-5 days before the New Year's day to 7-10 days after. Even the logistics companies are in vacation, expect stacked up orders right after they resume operation too. My guess is that they will have most of the distributor's orders filled by now, but these things sells pretty fast.

I asked the same thing here: http://forum.dji.com/thread-80748-1-1.html

Mindy replied:

We will have three-day holiday for Chinese New Year.
It won't affect much about the shipping.
