You're looking at the E800 manual with that info, correct?

The smart ESC communication cable connects to the iESC port, which can be seen on the bottom of page 15 of the N3 manual:

Instead of connecting the E800 ESCs from M1-M8 on the flight controller itself, you would allocate them to the ESC communication cable instead.

In that case the 8 cables that are included with the N3  are incorrect?  Or am I mistaken that the E800 ESC's are not intelligent (smart) ESC's.  The 620s ESC comes with a standard cable end and would not be able to connect with the  ESC communication cable. It is obvious where communication cable is pluged in, (page 15) but no other information is given on what plugs into it and WHAT ITS USE IS.,  is it for programing the ESC's or just an additional way to connect the ESC's to the N3. There in o provided cable to connect the ESC's to the Communication Cable Board.   Or my question is how do I allocate the 620s ESC's connection to the communication cable?

Dear DJI support, I have the same question, how do we connect the E800 / 620 ESC to the iESC port of the N3? I would assume to connect the ESC's via the update ports with the 8 port iESC adapter which came with the N3. But this would require some news cables which I don't have.

6) reboot UAV

Non so se è la procedura corretta ma è l'unica procedura che sono riuscito a capire

Sarebbe interessante avere info da parte di DJI visto che in questo caso siamo un po' lasciati all'abbandono !!

----------------

... I have solved this:

1) Extract all connectors from M1 to M8
2) connect  UAV (all engines emit a beep ... beep..beep..beep ... etc)
3) With Assistant 2 enable all calibration motors .....
4) Launch the calibration and insert all connectors into the N3 one at a time
5) click "finish" (engines do not emit any beeps) ....
6) Reboot UAV

I do not know if it's the correct procedure but it is the only procedure that I understood

It would be interesting to have info from DJI since in this case we are left to abandon !!

Did someone already solve this big question? The smart ESCs  620D, have a four-cable input: red-orange-orange-brown. How to connect multiple esc's to the 3-pin iESC port of the N3?
