Anyone using a nexus 6p phone with the mavic remote. It seems the USB C connection is tight and when I remove the phone the cable comes out of the controller clip.
I'm pretty sure I installed the USB c cable and the little square bracket correctly in the remote.

Yes, another irritation you have to put up with on the Mavic. Same thing happens to me but you just need to use your fingernail under the clip to hold it while removing the phone or slide the clip to the outside and hold pressure while gently removing the phone.

Can I ask if your set came with the USB C cable or you had to purchase one separately?

I thought there were two sizes of clip for different cables? Perhaps you have the larger one in place (for the iphone I think) ?

im using the USB-C cable that came with the mavic. Now that cable pouch did have two plastic adapters that install into the RC. I dont know whats the difference between the two adapters? They must be the same, i dont see the point in them being different becuase they are to be used with DJI's USB-C cable.

Has anyone tried shaving some of the plastic from the controller so that a phone would slide in easier..... (No that is not what she said!!!!)

Contemplating doing this. Using iPhone with included pre-installed cable and having this problem. At first it was ok, but once it did it one time it's happened every time since. Annoying

yeh im finding that putting phone  in the controller and setting it up takes about the same time it did for me to setup the props on the phantom 3 and getting it ready to go. So what ever time i save with the mavic for that, i waste on setting up the controller now.. LOL

I do want to find a solution to prevent the usb cable from popping our of the controller clip though..thats extremly annoying.Maybe i should just use super glue or hot glue on the clip so that it stays in there for good!!

I might go with the hot glue seeing as it's easily removed without any potential for damage like you may encounter with super glue.

I use this because the micro was upside down. It fits from the bottom connector without extra cable flopping https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FA4JXN0

Yeh, I already did that yesterday. Seems to work fine now. I also shaved off some of the rubber grip in which the phone slides into the controller. My Nexus 6P device is thicker on one end so it would not go in at all. Shaving off about 2mm did the trick.
