2.4 GHz SPW24 (2370-2510MHz) RCHP Skew Planar Wheel Antenna on the drone for video.
BlueProton DJI Phantom 3 Standard WiFi Signal Range Extender Six (6) Antenna Kit w 10dBi 5.8GHz Omni by ARGtek,using 5.8 panel for remote and sticks for video,leftover stick 5.8 i hooked to drone.
Adding right now the amp
YKS Upgraded 5.8Ghz FPV Controller Transmitter RF Signal Amplifier for DJI Quadcopter Drone,which i want to use with original remote lipo battery, changing it to a higher voltage with RioRand LM2596 DC-DC Buck Converter Step Down Module Power Supply Output 1.23V-30V (1Pcs-LM2596)
Any thoughts if the original remote lipo battery would be able to support it?

Most people don't know what you just said but without anything other than a DBS mod I was already considering putting a bigger or two 18650s there 2600ma. I got some really good ones I use for my e-cigarette and their 3000ma.

So one idea would be adding a second battery or bigger batteries an idea I had was velcro a portable phone charger on the back then I could even charge my phone and the controller at the same time

All installed , was too late to test it , but when i turned  it on my signal was really weak when i was close to the drone , something must be wrong

With amp its worse then used to be..... at first i figured it had to be battery, hooked it to  ac dc transformer 6 volt 2amp ,same thing,  5200 mah 3s 11.1volt same thing no difference ,have no clue what to check next, would love some suggestions

Booster came with out  directions,  i had to google to find out which side is input and which is output, maybe the site i found was wrong,there for i hooked it backwards?
