Hello,  I need help using the DJI Assistant.

When you connect the short usb cable to the P4P then use the other longer usb cable, the only end left to connect to the PC is the micro usb connector.  What kind of cable/adapter do I need to change/convert the micro usb to regular usb so I can connect it to my PC?  Can I just use the long usb and insert the micro usb into the P4P and then connect the regular usb connector to the PC?

This may be a stupid question but I don't want to just try and possibly damage the P4P.

just use the long one ! that's all that's required to connect the aircraft to the computer !

You do not need the shorter cable to connect to two. You're adding factors you do not need to accomplish the task.

Thanks for the info, I wanted to make sure first.  I didn't know if the short cable was wired differently to connect to the P4P.

Just FYI: The short cable is the OTG adapter, you only use it when connecting the aircraft directly to your phone/tablet for firmware updating.
