Remote seems not to charge and only the first led blinks for 1 hour, does not it seem normal?

Remote control not used for 2 months and it was stored in a room heated normally and charged the last time it was used. This is the normal charger shipped with the Phantom ...

Can I try something or it's repair direction?
How long is it guaranteed?

Warranty is 1 year I think.
Never heard of this issue before, i'd be contacting DJI Natasha, I think is her screen name, she is on here quite often. Scroll though mess. locate her contact info
All I can think of is leave RC on charge overnight, see what's up next morning.

Thank you, I followed your advice and I left plugged the remote control all night ... It took a long time for the 2nd led to blink also then everything has come back in order ...
