I'm going on vacation next Friday and I'm planning on bringing my Mavic. Does anyone have tips on security at the airport etc?

Make sure you take it on as cabin baggage, preferably with the batteries depleted. You shouldn't have a problem.

What airlines are you traveling with?

I'll be going with Delta down to Argentina then a smaller charter.

I would look at websites for all the airlines your are traveliing on, and also governent websites to see what all the rules and regulations are.

As others have said it varies from airline to airline and country to country, but one of the great things about the Mavic is that its batteries are lower capacity than the Phantom's which means that for the airlines that I've researched it's easier to be compliant even with a spare or two.  Adds to the portability which is great.
