Hi new to the forum, first post! I built a F450 just after Christmas. After an initial altercation with a tree I am beginning to get to grips with flying. The F450 has the Naza M-V2 and works well and is generally very stable. I have found that if the F450 is in a hover and I rotate left the F450 looses height and if I rotate right it climbs. What would cause this? As I say it is generally very stable and flys well.

Hello and welcome,

It may be interference from wires coiled up or to close to the flight controller or gps? or a damaged FC from the crash. Maybe try re arranging your wires and see if that makes a difference,
I would advise you to get a small cheap mini quad copter just to practice flying, you can get them for like £20  on amazon and they are amazingly fun and it doesn't matter if you crash them because there pretty much bullet proof.
Hope this helps

I would recommend a advanced IMU calibration and possibly adjusting your vertical gains.
