Can anyone tell me why the TB47 and 48's have just suddenly rose in price with the TB48 £155 to £191. This taking the piss or something ??

The consensus from most people in Europe was either it's been do to the weakening of the euro or that they pre pay vat and should have included that in the beginning. The price in the US has remained the same.
Still-- Britain is paying the equivalent of $294 USD for a battery we are paying $199 for in the US. crazy.

think i'll stick with the 47's then. Not worth it for another 5 mins

I just bought a TB47 from Heliguy - as soon as I saw the price hike I purchased it hoping they'd honour the original price - they did.

rip off Britain, we always pay more in Britain unless you are a politician then the british taxpayer foots the bill

It is the same all over France, I checked 5 online shops, they all raised their prices: 199eur for the 47 and 229eur for the 48.
Crazy.
Lucky I always by my stuffs directly in HK or China...

I had two on order with B&H Photo and the other Post is correct. We in the US are still paying the same price as originally advertised. I would assume that spare parts will start to show up on Ebay if they haven't already?
