Would be awesome to have a charger for the Mavic batteries that is using USB-C Power Delivery.
USB-C delivers up to 100W (20V @ 5A) and we could use alot of existing gear (MacBook (Pro) charger, powerbanks, etc).

Anyone knows of anything like that in the works?

I have a DIY Power Delivery charger for Mavic Pro. But I only have a 60WPD power bank but it works well.

Parts:
1. USB-C 15-20V tigger board (set to 20V tigger)
2. Mini DC-DC Step doewn converter with constant current
3. 5A Diodes
4. Heat sinks
5. Mini DC fan for cooling
6. Mavic Pro charging cable (came from 3rd party brand chargers and I just de-soldered them)
7. Normally open 45C bi-metal switch
8. 3D printed casing (own design)

Specs:
Input: 20V 3A(60W) but the USB-C trigger can support up to 20V 5A(100W)
Output: 13.05V 3.83A(50W)
Cooling: Temperature controlled fans via bi-metal switch rated at 45C temp

Note: The Mini DC-DC step down is rated at 75W max. If you have a 100W PD you can set the output at 13.05V 5A(65W) wherein 5A is max current output allowed for the DC converter. Or you can buy 2 pcs. Mini DC-DC converter then set the output both in 13.05V 3.8A(50W) then have a 2 separated output of 50W to maximize the 100W PD. You can charge 2 Mavic Pro batteries simultaenously.
