I hope this is a stupid question and that there's nothing wrong with my bird. while i was prepping to test fley the unit, i noticed that the camera won't turn 360 degrees while on land. i saw some videos that some users rotated the camera while landed, is the camera only supposed to rotate when the landing gears are up? or do i need to send this unit back for trouble shooting/replacement?
thanks in advance.

Hi..
I think and you may already noticed the camera will only rotate around so far until it comes to a stop in either direction
I may be wrong but you may need to center the gimbal before mounting it too the Inspire so that it has same amount of rotation in either direction...Or it could be you need too control the camera via the App or it will only move very slightly... Unless you have a second control setup to control the camera.

OK

I am able to move and rotate my camera at any time, land or air. How are you trying to rotate it?

In the App you need to hold your finger on the screen until the blue circle is shown, you can then move the gimbal with your finger.
To use your single controller you need to program the rotate function using your C1 or C2 buttons.
Page 36 & 37 in your manual will explain Gimbal control functions.

The Inspire gimbal is limited to 320 degrees in each direction.  It will not rotate a continuous 360 degrees.

sorry i wasn't too detailed. the gimabl will only twitch 5deg to the right/left when landed but will move fully up and down and would stay at the angle i would want it. when moving the camera right and left, it would only move to some degree then would go back to center.
I think i'll try Mjdflying's instructions and check out C1 and C2 programming- thanks!

Yep, setting up C1 as a toggle Tilt/Pan will do the trick.
But with camera in FPV mode then can not pan.

I stand corrected.  That is what happens when you rely on your memory and not look at the specs.

Actually the gimbal is rotating 330 degrees in both directions. when you positioning the Inspire and camera correctly you get 660 degrees
