Hi Guys,

I am very new to the DJI world of filming drones and awaiting my Mavic to be shipped. While waiting I have been trying to educate myself as thoroughly as possible. Currently my quest for knowledge has led me to start questioning two things: Filters and Editing software.

It seems like everyone is using filters ND filters, I saw that DJI just came out with a set and from what I hear polar Pro Cinema series is a good option as well. Not really sure which I should look for the shutter or vivid series or if I should just wait for the 20 days til shipping on the DJI ones. I'd love to hear some feedback on what I should be getting. I live in San Francisco and plan to do some filming on the coasts up here as well as along the delta in the central valley of California. I expect mostly sunny days.

As far as editing software to make these movies presentable what are you using? I used to do a lot of underwater photography and video, but I stopped chasing sharks years ago (yes I took the pic in my profile) and haven't edited in maybe 8 years. I don't yet understand all the exporting and film modes yet, but I figure that will come in time. Any resources/ suggestions you can share to help me make the right choices would be appreciated

Thanks
DT

Sweet I'll download it now. Thanks for the help. I can run some tests with my Tiny Whoop videos ahead of my Mavic showing up.

which set do you have? I don't really understand the differences in types except in the ND number ND4 ND8 etc but some have PL after it...I assume that may mean polarized..is that needed?

Other options for filters are:
1. PGYTech (I have these and they are excellent quality)
