I traveled to a few places the last month, mostly in the Middle East and here is my take:

- For the foreseeable future, it will be unlikely for us to fly in cities at all. This means for a city like Rome, you will not be able to fly at all. It does take away the opportunity to film a different perspective.
- In the Middle East there is a ban or high concern for drones. Look up what ISIS is doing with drones. It is too bad that good technology in the hands of bad guys makes it bad for everyone.
- In populated Middle East countries like Jordan, it makes sense not to fly because the palace grounds is within city limits and there is high concern from local intelligence agencies that the footage can be used for the wrong reasons.
- I was able to film in remote places such as the deserts and highlands and I think that will be the future of what we are able to film. No more city filming but rather remove locations. So the beauty of Mother Nature

I say take it, tape over the LED lights, fly at night if necessary, get some great footage.  Come home..show footage.
