Transport Canada has released new for drone use in Canada.

Among other things it states that you must be 9km from an airport before you can fly AT ALL.

As this is now the rule in Canada, will we see a update in the DJI software and no fly zone rules to enforcethis within Canada at some point?

I ask this because I pointed out to a Phantom pilot the new rules and he said he didn't have to worry about it because his Phantom told him where he was and was not allowed to fly.

A max of 90 meters is pretty low

ICAO needs to get an international standard together for this as the rules vary from country to country
