Hello all,

First time poster but been browsing for a while.  I have recently bought a second hand DJI Phantom 3 Standard.  I noticed that the battery seems to be a little tight to insert and remove.  I'm not sure if that is just how it is supposed to be?  I have had a look online and the batteries for sale on the DJI website don't look like mine.  However, I have seen a few people selling these exact batteries and stating they are genuine (and these are 100% ebayers).  So is my battery just an older model or is it in fact a fake?

Thanks in advance

Looks totally genuine. Battery should be a snug fit and require pressure to insert it in the slot, loose fitting is more an indication that the battery my not be genuine.

I bought a spare from Walmart awhile back, it fit tighter than the one my phantom came with. It did not sit totally flush when inserted and the edges of the plastic were a little rough but it works great.

Hello BarrieG14, the app will recognize the battery automatically.
If it's a fake battery, app will prompt you. You don't need to worry about it.
By the way, you can check the battery status in battery settings.
