I had this problem two days ago while on a maiden flight with the Mavic, is that normal?  I still had RC control over the Mavic but despite restarting the GO4 app, it still shows 'Disconnected'.  It was a good thing I was flying LOS so I could bring it back.
The Mavic battery reached 23% when I set the threshold of 24%.

I had the same exact issue. On my third flight. Not sure if it was a fluke or what, but hasn't happened since. Not sure if it was the battery or the AC. Since it's happened I've flown three more times and never had the issue again. I'll keep a close eye on this thread and do some research. If I find anything I'll post it here.

Also when it happened with me, I didn't press anything and about 8-10 seconds later the phone/app reconnected.

Hello ay6810, could you please clarify what mobile device you are using? Do you have another mobile device to test with?

I have had the app shut down on me as well while flying and I had to restart it. It happened a couple of times and wiped most of the log files. I had no warning messages at all and everything had seemed normal.

I used an ASUS Zenfone 3 Deluxe running on Android 6.01. GO4 was sucessfully installed from Google Play store with no issues.
I have another mobile device but not sure if GO4 will install as its an older ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser.

same issue for me, using mavic + samsung s7 + dji go app 4
in my case, mavic turned into RTH and i did not have access to the rc, except for 1 or 2 sec. so i could bring it back to me my way ...

Unfortunately You are not alone with the problems of DJI GO 4 on Android ................

Hi there , i try to use my new Mavic Pro (I have Phantom 3 Pro too), and i got the same fenomenal , DJI Go 4 App had many times disconnected issues in short and medium range , and i didn't take the risk to fly it behind my visual range. DJI R&D team musk solve this issue before many users will begin to complain that their DJI drone crashed !!!

Just had this happening to me, third flight, kinda scary, the aircraft was back with me and it initiated the autolanding and sat down by my side.

Try changing the DJI cable that connects the RC to your phone/tablet.  I changed that and had no problems after doing so.

On my next flight it complained about battery firmware inconsistency, hit update and no further issue so far.

I had updated the firmware the day before the issue. My guess is it didn't update properly the battery and on my next flight for some reason the inconsistency wasn't detected. After that second update the problem has disappeared.
