Whilst filming at a local football club, I set up a shot and asked the play to fire a ball at the goal in the direction of the drone.. he misheard me and fired straight at the drone... Was surprised it stayed up there!!!  clever little durable drone

You got lucky the rotors weren't hit. Usually propellers break and drone crashes. I mean how lucky is that, he managed to hit the drone but no rotors were hit!

really cool footage actually. these drones are pretty durable, its impressive! i bet the football club would love that video

Doesn't matter if it took many takes - loved it. Just remind me not to put my drone in harms way - might not be so lucky!

That was pretty lucky. When I've seen units maintain themselves from a collision, it seems like it's due to some magical angle of the impact.

I was using my P4 to record my parents playing fetch with their dogs and my dad probably couldn't do it again if he tried, but he tossed this huge rubber lattice ball and hit the P4 and brought it down. Luckily the only thing damaged was 2 props. But I learned this valuable lesson always hover in the back or at least high enough not to get hit (which in their yard is a tiny backyard with a lot of trees) so that's not an option there

Wow, amazed that it continued to fly for sure. If you pause it right before the hit it looks like a direct impact to one of the arms / rotors / props and not one of the legs. Must have been a 1 in a million shot! Thanks for sharing the video.
