hi
Just received my third TB47 Battery.
When checking the firmware my latest battery is 3.03 firmware the remaining two battery's I have are 3.00 firmware.
When I install the 3.03 battery into the aircraft it shows full capacity on the app but then it will read N/A on the app and that tab goes red and then the red light will come on the aircraft, when this happens it's only momentarily and then it reads the correct voltage and goes back to blinking green light.
I am not sure if this is a firmware issue with the 3.03 battery as I do not experience this issue with my other two battery's with the 3.00 firmware.
Oh maybe I have a crap battery, I am not sure but I don't feel like taking a chance flying with a battery like this as I feel failure of the craft is imminent.

Anyone else have the TB47's with firmware 3.03???????

My original battery that came with the Inspire is 3.03 - two additional ones that I bought later are both at 3.00. I have not seen the behavior you are mentioning with either of them.

Curious and nothing to do with your issue but why aren't you buying the TB 48? You will achieve greater flight time with the 48. Is it a cost factor?

It has to do with the firmware that was installed on the battery at the factory.  I have several that are at v3.0.0.9 and they will not upgrade.  They still function just fine.  I would not worry at this point.

You would go with  TB47 over TB48 if you need to carry multiple ones on flights since they fall into different categories. There's a reason TB47 is just under 100 Wh - to come in under that limit. In most jurisdictions you're only allowed to carry a maximum of two TB48s, no limit on number of TB47 as long as they are in your carry-on bag.

If you never plan to carry your Inspire onto commercial flights by all means go for the TB48 ones.

Seems to be the case with a number of people. I am waiting for my third TB48 at this time. If you hunt around you may find some. It seems like some Dealers do have them. I am in no rush as I have two with a third on back order.
