Since i updated to DJI GO 3.1.2 and the corresponding FW-updates, the range is no longer bearable.
After the unavoidable FLY AWAY with 3.1.2 (discribed here: http://forum.dji.com/thread-81594-1-1.html), i tried 2.9.1 and 3.1.1, which removed the jumping homepoint issue.
But the range is still horrible ! I can't fly any further than 120m  anymore.
And it does not depend on the DJI GO app.

I am going to send it back to DJI  - i am pretty fed up now.
I want it back with the same functionality as when i bought it 6 weeks ago.

I'm having this issue too! This morning was fine but took out this evening and seems to loose connection

I had the same issue until I downgraded the FW on my drone, I no longer have the range problem anymore!

I have latest firmware and 3.1.2 Go App and I have no issues.

However I did a gimble and IMU calibration after firmware upgrade.     This from a flight I did yesterday

May I know what mobile device you used to connect the remote?
Just to clarify, you mean RC signal lost or image transmission lost when it reaches to 120m?
Please try to link the remote to aircraft again and adjust antenna during flight.
And fly it farther then higher.

i have a Nexus7- 2nd Gen.
As you can see in my Videos above, the image transmission is good and stable all the time.
But the RC signal gets lost and AC performs a RTH.
I did relinking a few times and i know how to position an antenna.
This has nothing to do with this "lost signal issue" since the last FW updates.
In the videos above i did not fly high - only RTH was high with 50m.

I'm having a similar issue with version 3.1.4 and my iPhone 6.  cannot get beyond 1100 feet.  ugh
