I don't know if this is my settings or if the ND filters I ordered will help with this but I haven't seen this in most of my other videos. Getting really bad mushy watercolor effect.

What were your picture settings? I also had very mixed results and i am doing some test right now. What i know so far is that negative sharpen (which is something that i'd like to use since i prefer to sharpen in post) has a negative effect and will blur the darker parts of the image.

I used D-Cinelook with -1 -2 -2

I just shot today in D-Log -1 -2 -2 and did a test grade. Much better results and no more watercolor effect.

If you really want to get the best picture, do as much tests as possible with very varied settings, even if they seem unlikely at first.
As far as I have found out, negative sharpness and even 0 sharpness has negative effects on picture details.
You can take a look on this thread, where we discuss this (the end part of the thread is probably is the most useful) - http://forum.dji.com/forum.php?m ... mp;page=1#pid663131
