Hello everyone! Im a happy Mavic owner flying in the south of Chile. I have one issue that I cant solve. When Im connected and want to try to change the video resolution from 2,7k to 1080 the image on the iphone goes to black, and when it comes back the resolution is back in 2,7k. I have tried resseting the camera settings and nothing. The downlink resolution to the controller is in normal mode (not hd, someone mentioned that could affect). Any ideas?

Are you able to share a video, as it can help pinpoint your issue quicker. :-)

I looked to record mu iphone screen but I understood that Apple doenst allow apps to record the screen, so it wont be easy to share it. Do you suggest something to reord the screen?

Are you able to screen shot the settings?

If you have a mac, you can perform a screen record using quicktime... otherwise there are some screen recorder app out there...

You can only record screen movies on an iPhone while it's tethered to a Mac desktop.

What frame rate are you selecting in 1080? Pal or NTSC?

Had the same issue, but I was just in "manual" mode (for photo/camera) and the settings were not correct for surroundings thus got black screen.

Thanks buddy, first things first, have you got an iPhone 4 or 5?
  • Most likely the phone does not support the resolution or something.
  • Best way to test this is if you know someone who has a newer iPhone (6 or 7) or Android device, install the DJI Go 4 App on those device and try it there.

If they work, then uninstall the App on your device and reinstall.

Note: just trying to help you nail down the issue.

Are you using the DJI Go app or the DJI Go 4 app? The latter is the one you are supposed to use with the Mavic.

Dear all helpers,

Im using an iPhone SE 64GB and the app is the DJI Go 4. I will try using 1080 30fps anyways, previously I was trying with 1080 24fps.

Make sure you are using the latest  DJI Go 4 app and firmware on your Mavic, the RC, and your batteries -- good luck!
