I have installed x3 on quadcopter with N3 and LB2 with X3 gimbal adapter for matrice 600


i have latest updates + updated camera x3 for matrice 600 => is this correct firmware?

DJI go app says "gimbal cannot receive main controller data"

I had a similar problem with my X3 on the Inspire 1, the only thing that solved the issue was putting the firmware on a blank SD card and install it again. Other than that message is there any image showing in the app, is the gimbal stabilizing or is it limp?

Try putting the firmware on a blank SD card, insert it, power the aircraft and leave it for around 35-30 minutes. That should resolve the issue.

Since you're using a custom rig, none of the X3 data packages will be able to update the aircraft properly. The X3 can only be updated via an I1, OSMO, M600 or M100. The M600 adaptor plate when used with the N3/A3 with LB2 is a mod, so most likely a data package wouldn't be made available. You would want to look into getting in touch with a local dealer, or a friend with one of those platforms to get it updated.

Could you happen to verify how you got the X3 updated? Did you receive a 'successful' .TXT message? Have you tried inserting a blank SD card and power cycling the unit?

this is the txt message when i want to upgrade with inspire 1 + inspire x3 firmware

Packet: WM610_FW_V01.10.01.40.bin
Result: Abort.
The firmware on the SD card is identical to or older than the current firmware on the device.

My concern is that you updated the unit with a file that also carries information for the M600's main controller. Does the N3 appear normal when you connect it to the Assistant 2?

N3 appears normal yes.
what do you suggest?

When I put mine together I had same limp gimbal and beep beep.... turned out I did not have both leads connected to the Matrice board (1 to LB and 1 to N3).

PS also for what its worth I had firmware issue too and couldn't get any firmware to update via my rig (as Jamie advises above). I had to purchase a OSMO (handle) to enable me to install the OSMO firmware. Now the camera/gimbal works normal with no Firmware warnings.

DJI Jamie, i have loaded osmo and M600 firmware through N3 X3 and gimbal works but no image transmission, i can take pictures

If you have no picture try changing the settings in App, I believe I had to change the settings that related to how much processor/memory you allocate to the camera (or something like that) cant remember exactly what its called. But I had a dead picture too and it worked after I adjusted that.

Hi

I am facing a similar problem. My Zenmuse X3 Gimbal is limp and there is no video output to Dji Go App. The Dji Go App says Gimbal disconnected. Also there is no sound from my gimbal camera. I have used DJI N3+ Lightbridge 2 + Zenmuse X3 camera with m600 mounting bracket.

Please help me out with this issue
