I seemed to recall if you had more than 1 drone, you could use your same FAA Number for each drone.  I've been over to the FAA site this afternoon trying to find an answer, but cannot seem to find the answer.  I'm not opposed by any means of paying another registration fee if that is a requirement, but given how much time I've tried to find it on the FAA site, thought I'd check here for anyone that has more knowledge on the topic.  Thanks in advance!

That is correct as a hobbyist drone flyer,  unless its a commercial enterprise (making money), then each drone requires its own unique number.

For hobbyist use you can use the same original FAA number you were issued the very first time you registered, for all of your SUAS. Now for commercial use, you will need an actual N number for each individual aircraft. Some paperwork is involved FAA "Aircraft Registration". The fee is $5.00, and it is good for 3 years. Safety first! Ken.
