I'm scared of that NFZ update.  It's very ambiguous.

Oh well, I'll try it out.  If I don't like it, I've got 4.0.1 backed up via Titanium if anyone needs it.  Or you can just go to the pirated website DJI support like to link here on their forum & get a nice phishing version.

You can disable automatic update for an app in android, under the plays store

True I know that but DJI screwed everyone because you can't open the app if you don't update.  This is crap in all honesty.

I don't understand why Android still doesn't have Art mode back as an option.
DJI are such a tease.

Stuck with 'workaround' of leaving it in Art and never use any other option as you can't go back.
There is no need for this surely, it has been re-instated in IOS.

Since last I heard they were pretending Art was still available with different name, I don't hold out much hope - it seems to be easier to simply act stupid.

In google play everything is in chinese. You forget you market is well outside borders. Is it too hard do give an English description what the upgrade brings in play store?

I see an English description.
Try to play with your settings. I have my google account (and my webbrowser) set up to prefer English or Danish.
I agree if DJI uses Chinese as the fallback-language if language in your profile(s) doesn't include English (or Chinese), then it is a bad choice.

Looks like the pop-ups are semi-transparent now with rounded edges.  Gonna fly it right quick...

No, it has clearly not been fixed. The app hasn't been opened at all:

This is on Google Pixel with latest Android 7.1.1.

I'm on Android 6.0.1 on a Samsung 7 Edge. The DJIGo4 app is showing 2% of battery usage. I can't recall if I have opened the app since I last charged the phone. However, it does show up in the list of background apps. I wonder if that is because it's set to start automatically when plugged into the RC?

Yes, but "listening" for a request shouldn't take up as much battery as a foreground app.  How long had your phone been unplugged after you checked battery usage stats?  2% after 10 hours is normal.  2% after an hour isn't (if you haven't launched it).

Just flew.  Everything seems "normal" and Google Maps still functions (I'm rooted).  It crashes every time if I tap on a flight within Flight Data with that Google Map glitch.  Works fine out of the box otherwise (if I use HERE Maps).

Took the phone off the charger about about 8 hours ago when I got up to go to work. Haven't been flying so it hasn't been used.

BTW, you can pinch-to-zoom now (if you're not shooting 4k).

To be fair, a restart after latest app-update apperently has helped. Or maybe something else I did?
Probably got to monitor this a bit more before draving too many conclussions...

Though, it's still number 6 on the list, as the first "real app" even though it has not been opened at all. But only at 1% now. Maybe just because I haven't used the phone so much today?

Still no Facebook Live.  Makes no sense since the old GO version worked fine with it.

Am i blind or is geo-system not existant anymore in the app settings?

I'm very disappointed because before the last updates on  DJI Go & DJI Go 4, everything was working flawlessly and right now i'm experimenting crashes all the time when the video signal gets disturbed, the app just closes itself, worst case i have seen, phone just reboots by itself.

I tried to revert to an old version and i have this annoying window which forces me to update to the latest version on both apps. What are they doing? Are they trying to take down all Android users and make them go for Apple? Is it some kind of deal made with the complicity of Apple...

I'm not able to fly my P4 anymore because of all these issues, it's becoming more and more ridiculous.

DJI please, listen to your customers and do something...

I'm using the Asus Zenfon 2 with Android 6.0.1.

But i have the same behaviour on my NVidia SHIELD with Android 6.0.1 & Android 7.0.3

Apparently now DJI forces you to use the latest version, i tried to downgrade the DJI GO app and i got always this annoying tips box It won't allow you to use the app until you install the latest version {:4_177:} All my issues would have been solved if they just simple allow me to use an old version of the DJI GO app like DJI GO 3.1.1...

Note 5, Latest dji app, 6th try to download latest firmware, hangs at 73%. Any advise?

Does the latest fw update fix litchi issues like the vr and headteacher tracking problems?

Same problems here.
After the last "MUST" update which i cant fit in my mind (is this some kind of dictate?). My Nvidia shied k1,start laging/glitching on camera view. Iv never have issue with this device. Things happened after this MUST update of DJI GO.
Can someone help here? Is there a better app than DJI GO?
