What are you trying to do with DJI Assist 2 anyway?   You can do most of the updates via the controller.

Try another usb-cable.

I think the cable that came with the combi-charger is a charging-only cable for the remote. Which is a really stupid move from DJI. Imagine if you didn't found out about this until traveling or hiking somewhere deserted and it was the only usb-cable you had packed in your bag? I threw mine in the garbage can as soon as I found out about this, to avoid such a situation some day...

Are you using version 1.0.9?

Try "running as administrator", usually right-click and select "run as administrator".

To communicate with the aircraft or RC, the DJI Assistant uses a special set of plug-n-play drivers that normally get installed along with the Assistant from C:\Program Files (or Program Files(x86) depending on your PC)\DJI Product\DJI Assistant 2\Drivers.... The various driver files are in folders and there are two batch scripts, one of which is run during the installation.

Do you recall being prompted to install the drivers during the DJI Assistant Installation?

I had the same thing. Get it plugged into computer, launch Assistant, then power on the bird. That sequence solved my issue

If you mean the hd symbol with the signal bars?
Means there is some interference. Can also occur with the rc symbol. Is normal, safe to fly.
