Be sure your antenna are directed, flat side, towards the drone.

Fly higher to avoid wifi congestion or any local interference.

And please turn off cap lock, when posting here. Thanks ;-)

How high do you normally have to fly to avoid interference?

Is the interference you are referring to, is that Wifi signals from houses, businesses?  Or is it just power line interference?

Thank you

All of it, and more. Yes.
I like to stay fifty to sixty meters, minimum.
A clear VLOS is also optimal.

Just think, nearly every household has a WiFi network. Power cables run all over the 'hood as well.

Tall trees, block our RC signals too.

Does the "Windsurfer" antenna add on have an impact on the photo/video down link or is it just concentrating the Command and Control signal?  I am guessing that it is effective for the C2 signal; but wonder what those using it have found.

Only the 5.8gig control signal is benefited by using a wind surfer. The 2.4gig wifi antennas are internal to the remote. The wind surfer does work.

I've had good success with the Blue Proton ARGtek mod.

I am using the Argtek Anenna on my P3S.  Did 1.83km on my first test flight with it yesterday.

I had not flown more than 450m distance before so this is 1400m more on first test flight. Argtek boosts both Video and RC range.

Yes today I did a flight at 10200 feet, 1640 feet above my launch.  Visibility was like 20 feet at launch.

Ha, we're restricted to 400 feet high in the UK and must fly within unaided line of sight

I always fly safe.  Actually we had two police officers from the National Park standing with us so they could see the videos and photo's we took.  We do have flight restrictions in the cities but not up here were I live.

Within unaided sight i.e. you have to be able to control it without relying on the camera view on your device; I've found that once you start getting past about 300 metres that gets quite difficult
